Description
We are the Deutschamerikanischer Bürgerverein von Maryland, Inc. (German-American Citizen’s Association of Maryland). We consist of 11 member organizations with varied purposes but with one common thread. Their members are Americans of German descent, are German born or have an interest in German heritage and culture. Did you know approximately 50,000,000 Americans can trace their ancestry to Germany?
The member clubs come together under the Bürgerverein umbrella to promote our common German heritage via the German Festival, the Oktoberfest, the Fasching and other events. This website contains information about each member organization, our calendar of club events, and our events.
