Mid-Florida Milers Walking Club

The club is associated with the AVA- America's Walking Club that in turn is affiliated with an International Association. Please review the video Come Walk With Us. There are over 1,800 pre-laid out walks available daily in all states. The walks in many cities and parks are designed by local residents who showcase that location's attractions or scenic places. There are also weekend walking events where clubs sponsor multiple walks in cities. The National Headquarters sponsors a convention every two years at various locations.

We promote a positive and active lifestyle through walking and positive milestone reinforcement - a pin, patch, and certificate for each level of event and distance achieved. Walking 5 kilometers or 10 kilometers frequently achieves milestones you can see. Join us for a walk and since it is at your pace, the 3 or 6 mile distance is VERY "doable".
